The Archive of the Future is an experimental non-profit organization dedicated to the democratization of art via the World Wide Web. We are a small, anonymous collective of web developers, art historians and contemporary artists who have previous experience working for world renowned galleries and museums. Our mission is to preserve artistic renderings of the future from throughout the 20th Century. Suspended in cyberspace, this ever-expanding collection of art can be viewed by anyone with a computer and internet access. We hope that this will serve as an evolving artifact of the time that we live in. As technology changes, this site may become redundant, or it may survive the test of time to provide a time capsule that records the presence of objects and cultures that may otherwise be erased.
